Today: Estelle Kuttler, Customer Service Profile Switzerland.
Her motto: Happy is the one who has kept his childlike heart.

What gives you particular pleasure?
I love nature and the animal world. It is incredibly fascinating what wonderful natural spectacles there are every day - like the sunlight on a winter morning hitting the ice-covered trees. Such wonderful moments give me great pleasure. That's why I recommend everyone to go through life with their eyes open! It is fascinating how you can always discover something new. It's true; the wonder of nature never ceases to amaze me.

What is your favourite season?
Autumn. I love the "melancholy in nature", the variety of colours and then you become particularly aware of the transience of things. It's as if nature is saying goodbye to summer.  The atmosphere is unique, the play of light and shadow, the wonderful colours of the sky, the variety of colours in the forest.

You say that besides nature you also enjoy animals. Do you have a pet?
Oh yes, several. We have an 11-year-old Yorkshire female, Lola. She is like a member of the family to us. She is especially important to my retired partner at the moment, she sets the rhythm of the day.
In addition, we have had a pair of parrots for seven years, Rusty-crowned parrots. They are funny, curious, fearless, playful and very lively and sometimes loud. They can't talk, but they communicate in their own way.
And then we have a curious twelve-year-old cat as a guest. She is an outdoor cat, independent and mysterious.
Some time ago I had the opportunity to volunteer for six weeks at the Zoo in Basel and in Lyon. There I had the opportunity to observe gorillas up close.  They are absolutely fascinating animals. I am impressed by the contrast between their immense sensitivity on the one hand and their enormous strength on the other. Gorillas are also very smart and quite similar to humans. Unfortunately, I have never had the opportunity to observe gorillas in the wild - maybe I will travel to a national park in Africa when I retire.

What is your favourite food?
As a Frenchwoman, I appreciate a dignified five-course meal - on feast days I treat my guests to it, including festive table decorations. It's important to me to satisfy the taste senses as well as the eyes. I love to cook refined, elaborate dishes, even at weekends; fish dishes in particular are my speciality. On weekdays, on the other hand, we particularly appreciate Italian cuisine. I also like well-seasoned dishes like paella and riz colonial - I usually have that for my birthday.

How "digital" are you on the move?
I prefer to listen to DAB, because I get radio programmes there I don't have otherwise. Of course, my mobile phone goes with me every day. One of my favourite apps is Google Maps. When I read about a place in an article, I use this app and look at aerial photos of the area. That way, I get to know the Swiss geography better on the one hand, and fantastic places on the other, without having to drive there myself. And of course I also use Google Maps when I'm on the road myself.
