CO2 Report 2025: Electricity
In 2025, around 80 % of our electricity consumption (in kWh) came from
renewable energy sources. Hydropower accounted for the largest share at
60 %, supplemented by solar energy from our own photovoltaic system, wind
power and biomass.
This high proportion of renewable energy has a positiv direct impact on our carbon footprint: compared to fossil fuels, it generates significantly fewer emissions.
This supports our overarching
sustainability goals and helps us meet our customers’ growing expectations.
