How do our aluminium castings and profiles become successful end products? Our new employees, along with those celebrating their employment anniversaries, found the answers to this question during yesterday’s induction day, which took place in summery temperatures.

Around twenty-five colleagues from the foundry, extrusion plant and administration departments took the opportunity to get to know one another across departments and enjoy a day full of new impressions together. The highlight of the day was a visit to two customer factories in the Basel region. These tours offered an interesting insight into their production processes and impressively demonstrated how our products are used in a wide variety of applications. A big thank you to our hosts for the warm welcome, for opening their doors to us, and for giving us an insight into their day-to-day work.

Encounters such as these not only foster a better understanding of the value chain, but also highlight the contribution each individual makes to our customers’ success.

It was, once again, a very enjoyable event.
