Whenever aluminium components require high strength, precise surfaces
and consistent material quality, gravity diecasting is the ideal
solution.
In the gravity diecasting process, reusable moulds – known as dies – are manually filled with molten aluminium using casting machines. The high thermal conductivity of the metal mould ensures that the aluminium solidifies rapidly. Depending on the alloy, this results in a particularly fine-grained and dense microstructure, which forms the basis for castings with good mechanical properties, high dimensional accuracy and precise surface quality.
We combine modern process engineering with many years of experience and craftsmanship. In this way, we ensure that every gravity diecast component meets the highest quality standards.
The result:
- high dimensional accuracy
- precise surface finish
- consistent material quality
- good mechanical properties
- further optimisation possible through heat treatment
The gravity diecasting process is particularly suitable for small to medium-sized production runs, ranging from just 10 g to 6 kg per casting.
As a full-service provider, we manufacture aluminium castings in a wide range of sizes and geometries. In addition to gravity diecasting, we also offer
high-pressure diecasting and
low-pressure diecasting. On request, we can handle the entire post-processing operation, including pre-assembly – right through to a product ready for installation.
Whether small, medium or large production runs: with a wide range of alloys available, we will find the right solution to meet your requirements for component quality, function and cost-effectiveness.
