Using a semi-automatic low-pressure die-casting process, we efficiently
manufacture complex aluminium castings in medium- and high-volume
production, offering high component density, precise contours, an
excellent surface finish and consistent quality.
The process is particularly suitable for components subjected to high mechanical, thermal or dynamic stresses, for medium to large production runs.
Process:In aluminium low-pressure diecasting, molten aluminium is held in a closed furnace beneath the mould. Under controlled pressure, the aluminium rises evenly into the mould via a sprue. The slow and low-turbulence filling of the mould reduces air entrapment, oxide formation and porosity. The pressure is maintained during solidification, ensuring that the mould is filled precisely and uniformly. The castings achieve SF6 tightness.
Typical areas of application include:- Housings and structural components
- Pump and hydraulic components
- Chassis and powertrain parts
- Components for electric mobility
- Engine and gearbox components
- Machinery and plant components
- Wheels and rotationally symmetrical components
- Pressurised castings requiring a high degree of leak-tightness
Thanks to the controlled filling of the mould, components featuring complex contours, varying wall thicknesses and integrated functional areas can also be produced.
As a full-service provider, we manufacture aluminium castings in a wide range of sizes, geometries and production volumes. In addition to
low-pressure diecasting, we also offer
high-pressure diecasting and
gravity diecasting.
Whether small, medium or large production runs, we use a broad selection of aluminium alloys to develop the right solution for your specific requirements in terms of component quality, functionality and cost-effectiveness.
