This week we had the pleasure of welcoming the members of the TKA-L working group of the German Aluminium Association. For us, this visit was a good opportunity to discuss current developments and challenges in the aluminium industry with industry experts and to discuss possible solutions.

The event began with the end-of-year meeting of the TKA-L working group. Afterwards, we had the pleasure of showing our guests the city of Basel decorated for Christmas. With its atmospheric lighting and famous Christmas market, the historic old town provided a wonderful backdrop to end the day in a relaxed atmosphere with a delicious dinner, despite the rain.

The following day, our guests visited our extrusion plant in Liesberg. The association members were given an insight into our work processes and technologies. Patrick Villiger also highlighted the current challenges on the Swiss labour market.
