Today we let the facts and figures speak for themselves: Within the
first seven months, 1.37 GWh of solar power has already been produced on
our roofs.
The PV system on the roofs of the foundry and the extrusion plant was completed in just under three months and put into operation at the beginning of April 2024.
With 4,475 photovoltaic modules spread over an area of 8,740 square metres, the facility contributes to sustainable energy production. The photovoltaic installation produces around 1,900,000 kWh per year, equivalent to the energy consumption of around 475 four-person households.
The project was realised with IWB's investment-friendly contracting model. We would like to thank IWB and Planeco GmbH for their excellent cooperation and the smooth realisation of this important project in the valley of Laufen.
