The solar plant is one of the largest in the Laufen valley and was installed by Planeco GmbH. Its annual electricity yield covers the needs of around 550 average single-family homes. We use the electricity generated for our own needs.
This investment in renewable energies is a further step on the way to becoming a Co2-neutral industrial company. We have been committed to using natural resources as sparingly as possible since the 2000s. As a certified company, we regularly fulfil and exceed both the requirements of environmental management and the target agreements of the Federal Government on energy efficiency and CO2 reduction. In this way, we make a significant contribution to achieving the industry targets.
The introduction of our new solar system is another milestone on our path to greater sustainability. Further projects are being planned.
