Explained in a nutshell: Aluminium as a material

As a newcomer to the aluminium industry, you have maybe a lot of questions. We explain some of them in loose order in our series "compactly explained". Here today: Aluminium as a material

In short: aluminium is an awesome material. This is because aluminium is versatile, can be processed in different ways and can be recycled several times without any loss of quality.

Aluminium is suitable for simple and highly complex applications. This is because aluminium is lightweight, easy to shape and process by machining. It is very durable, does not rust and is UV-resistant thanks to its natural oxide layer. Aluminium is also an ideal conductor of heat and electricity. The metal is also hygienic as it is easy to clean, sterilisable, impermeable and neutral. Aluminium allows itself to be recycled several times without losing its original attributes. This is why aluminium is used in a wide variety of industries and for countless applications.

We produce aluminium components for window profiles, façade elements, doors, letterboxes, battery housings for electric cars and frames for gondola lifts, for example. Our workpieces are used for football goals, garden shears, musical instruments and works of art, but are also installed in disinfectant dispensers and respirators - and many other objects.
