Instead of customer gifts, we have been donating the amount to charitable organisations in the region for several years. This year, the donation went to the Ronald McDonald Foundation's "Elternhaus in Basel".

The "Elternhaus in Basel" offers families with seriously ill children or premature babies a temporary home at the University Children's Hospital Basel (UKBB). The parents' home is only a few minutes' walk from the UKBB. This means that parents, siblings and other important carers are always close to the little patients. The Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation Switzerland has been committed to helping seriously ill children and their families since 1992. In Switzerland, they manage parents' homes in Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lucerne and St. Gallen.
