Max Locher managed our company for 22 years with great expertise, passion and a high level of social competence. With his entrepreneurial thinking, he played a decisive role in shaping the DNA of Aluminium Laufen AG. Before Max Locher took over as Managing Director, he had overall responsibility for sales for several years.
Even after his retirement in 2006, he continued to actively contribute his many years of knowledge and experience in the metal industry for seven years as Chairman of the Board.
Max Locher was also active in the Swiss Aluminium Association for around 20 years and had a strong influence on the association during his time in office. His foresight on key issues was of enormous value to our industry.
Many of our employees knew Max Locher personally - we will remember him fondly. We offer our sincere condolences to his family.
