When I was 17, I worked as an all-rounder at the Siky Park in Crémines during the holidays. I took care of all kinds of things: various repairs, insulating stables, I bricked walls and, of course, I also worked as an animal caretaker. The Siky Park is home to native and exotic animals, most of which come from animal rescues, confiscations or were given away.

To the future. I'm interested in what the world will look like in 50 years. How will mobility develop? Could we stop climate change? Will there still be many people - does the earth still exist at all? I'm not afraid of development, I'm simply interested in how things will go on. I like to compare the course of humanity and technology with the spiral shape of a snail shell: at first, development was very slow, then faster and faster.

Definitely the births of my two daughters, who are now grown up! They are among the most emotional moments of my life.

I go fishing regularly, especially in streams because of the brown trout. In general, I like to be out in nature with my wife and our dog. Especially in the Bernese Seeland. I went to the high school in Biel and therefore still have strong ties to this area. Many friends live there and we visit them regularly. Then I'm often on the road with my e-bike or my 650cc motorbike.
