Today: Florin Maliqi, mechanical processing profiles
His motto: Think positively and be helpful - even a friendly word can have a big impact.

Florin, you celebrated your 25th company anniversary last year. Which team did you join back then? 
I started in May 1999 as a temporary employee in Mechanical Processing and was then taken on permanently on September 1, 1999, which made me very happy. I still work in this team today. We process profiles into ready-to-install components that the customer is able to install directly. Depending on the project, I work on different machines.

What significance does your company anniversary have for you personally?
I am very proud that I have made my contribution here over the years. I like working here, I like doing my job. And if you enjoy your work, then you also feel good in the company.

What does your perfect working day look like?    
If the quality of my work is perfect and I manage the agreed quantity, then I'm happy. 

What has changed in your department over the years?    
There have of course been many changes during this time. For example, we have purchased numerous highly modern CNC machining centers, particularly in recent years, in order to meet new customer requirements. Then, some time ago, a fully automatic high-performance circular saw was put into operation. And five years ago, we also integrated a roll bending machine into our processing plant. And we have been operating our own recycling center for process scrap for over 20 years.

Finally, a personal question: what do you do in your spare time?
I regularly go to the fitness center. As it's open around the clock, I often take the opportunity to train after my shift at 11:00 pm. In summer, I spend a lot of time outdoors and go swimming regularly.

Florin Maliqi is one of our long-standing employees and celebrated his 25th anniversary with the company in 2024. Florin Maliqi works in the mechanical processing team. He saws the profiles to fixed lengths, punches, drills, mills, brushes and bends them. With his commitment, he contributes daily to our ability to meet specific customer requirements on time.
