Cyril, where do you hang out at the weekend?
At the weekend, I usually stay at home. But of course, I don't refuse to go out for a drink with my friends and enjoy a night on the town ;-)
Which concert have you been to lately?
The last concert I went to was at the Hallenstadion in Zurich at the end of September 2022. I was there with my girlfriend and a good colleague to see "Machine Gun Kelly" live. The concert was spectacular! Fire, confetti cannons and even a fake helicopter are standard on their tour. And of course, the band's performance was great!
Which famous person would you meet for dinner?
I would probably like to spend an evening with Hiromu Arakawa. She is the artist of the manga "Fullmetal Alchemist", which my sister showed me many years ago. I got to know the manga and anime world through this manga. What fascinates me most about manga is the style of drawing and writing and the different themes that are taken up. In western comics, it's more about superheroes and detectives. This also exists in manga, but the range of topics is much broader. The stories revolve around fantasy, science fiction, romance, horror, thriller and much more. And each manga differs in drawing and writing style. Meanwhile, my forearm is adorned with a tattoo inspired by this said manga. The only problem with seeing Hiromu Arakawa might be the language barrier, as I don't know Japanese ...
Are you voluntarily involved?
I have been on the leadership team for the confirmation groups from Bubendorf, Ramlinsburg and Lausen since 2018. I "slipped in" by chance when a friend asked me to join because they didn't have enough volunteers. Now I am at St. Stephan's every year in the first week of the autumn holidays and cook with others for about 40 people.
How "digital" are you and what are your favourite apps?
I now work paperless as much as possible and in my private life I am also very digital. I couldn't do without my mobile phone either. I need it to communicate with my family and friends. But unfortunately, also for unproductive moments. I could probably do without all apps except WhatsApp and Spotify.
Cyril Steiner works at Profile Customer Service. First as a temporary employee. We were very pleased that he returned to us in the summer of 2022 after his recruit school as a veterinary soldier. The main reasons for him to come back were the amazing colleagues at work, but also the nature around the company site and, of course, his varied field of work. Cyril says: "In customer service, you need a lot of specialised skills to get to know the whole process - from billet casting and extrusion to packaging and transport to the customer. I wouldn't have thought that before, as someone from outside the industry."
