The training enables our first responder to provide first aid. This enables them to react correctly in case of accidents, both privately and at the workplace. Thus, the focus of the training is on learning and exercising practical skills, with the help of anatomical models, respiratory masks, bandages etc. In addition, our colleagues learn how to alert the emergency call centre correctly and how to follow their instructions according to the situation until professional help arrives.
Another training point is the personal attitude towards giving help - which has met with a positive response. The course participants learn about the inhibiting and promoting factors.
The courses are conducted by certified experts from
notfallTraining Schweiz, an institution recognised by the International Rescue Association (IVR).
We are pleased that once again numerous colleagues from the foundry, the extrusion plant and the offices are taking part in one of the three courses.
