One of the main attractions of the Christian Garden in Berlin is the promenade. Its walls and ceiling are made of letters up to 2 m high that form quotes - from Goethe to Bible verses to lines of lyrics from the song "Wind of Change" by the hard rock band Scorpions. The garden was opened in Berlin in 2011, after a 2-year construction period - in the context of the "Gardens of the World", each representing different cultures or religions.
Many years ago, our sales and operations manager Dirk Franz was actively involved in the production of these elements for the walkway using the aluminium sand-casting process. The texts were set by hand, and the elements were moulded and cast in resin-bonded sand in a size of approx. 1.60 x 2.00 metres.
We do not offer the aluminium sand-casting process, but no matter what your requirements are: our specialists realise highly complex aluminium cast products in various sizes and in practically all shapes using the
gravity diecasting,
high-pressure diecasting and
low-pressure diecasting processes. There are hardly any limits for us in terms of complexity, geometry and tolerances - for industry and for art.
