Since exactly 20 years we have been producing billet formats and alloys for profile production in our own recycling centre. Now one of the 9.5 m long hydraulic cylinders has been replaced. 

The hydraulic cylinder, weighing 17 t, was hoisted at a dizzying height over the roof of the building to its place of installation and fitted precisely.

Thanks to the careful planning of all the employees involved, the installation went trouble-free. The casting table, for which the new hydraulic cylinder was needed, is already back in use.

We supply our customers with their specific alloy for their extrusions directly from our recycling centre in Liesberg. Or they choose from a wide range of alloys of the 6xxx series the one that suits their technical application.

We have taken some pictures for you of how the hydraulic cylinder with a diameter of 660 mm was precisely installed.
