Today: Russell Edison, Customer Service Machining
His motto: Become 1% better every day. My Life doesn't get easier, I get stronger.
What do you do in your free time? Most of the time I spend with music. I like listening to music, from quiet classical to hip-hop and rock. I play various instruments; bass guitar, keyboard and drums. I used to play in a band. Unfortunately I don't have time for it now because of my further education. And I like to mix music for myself privately. Then I do jogging 2x a week. That gives me inner peace and I get to let my mind roam.
I also often do city trips: On the one hand, I like to get to know new cities and I'm interested in their stories and peculiarities..
What is your favourite food?
Kottu Roti! Kottu Roti is a fantastic bread salad, a very popular dish from Sri Lanka. A roti - an unleavened flatbread - is cut into strips and mixed with various vegetables, eggs or pieces of meat and seasoned with lots of chilli and other spices.
What was your greatest holiday trip so far?I spent a three-week trip to the USA in 2016. We drove from San Francisco to Los Angeles in a rented car for two and were in Las Vegas, Yosemite Park, Yellow Stone Park and many other places. It was a very diverse trip. We got to know some cities and enjoyed a lot of nature on the road and in the national parks.
How "digital" are you on the way?I use a lot of digital possibilities. The digital world will become more and more important. At home, I'm changing over and setting up a smart home. Then I would like to have an office that is as paperless as possible, and I would really like to have a digital letterbox.
What are your favourite apps?My preferred apps include WhatsApp, Telegram, YouTube and Spotify.
WhatsApp and Telegram to be in regular contact with all my friends. YouTube to watch various videos and Spotify to enjoy high quality and a wide music range.
