According to our guiding principle "customised, flexible and fast":
The added value for Sky-Frame in this huge project was to reduce the logistics effort, the assembly effort due to the fitting on the construction site, the resulting waste cuttings as well as the packaging waste due to the otherwise usual packaging.
Our additional services:
- Customised special lengths of the profiles: This saved the logistics and assembly effort and avoided around 2 tonnes of aluminium waste on the construction site.
- Flexible packaging units: The aluminium profiles were individually packed in the desired quantities in bulk bundles. These special packaging sizes saved a great quantity of logistical effort on the construction site, as no individual transports by crane between the floors were necessary, and also time, as the sorting of the individual profiles on the work site was no longer necessary. In addition, no space had to be kept free for sorting on the already limited Ground 0.
- Fast direct delivery: The usual intermediate storage was made unnecessary, because we delivered the required quantity of profiles directly to the construction site in Locarno on the desired date, adapted to the progress of the construction work.

The aluminium profiles in special lengths were used for around 2 800 m of all-glass railings for the
Parco Lago building project in Locarno. The new residential development comprises four buildings.
