The shortage of extrusion billets is tightened by insufficient freight capacities for additional deliveries from countries outside Europe. As a result, billet premiums have risen massively since the beginning of the year.
We are striving to secure supplies even as demand increases. Thus, the capacity in the company's own remelting plant was significantly increased and additional input material in the form of scrap and ingots was procured on the market.
Our customers benefit from on-time deliveries of their ordered aluminium profiles, rods, tubes and cast aluminium parts. Further processing into ready-to-install components can also continue to be ensured at the usual delivery times.
New orders can currently be produced and delivered without any delay.
