Windows have long been more than just functional components. They influence the energy consumption, living comfort and environmental balance of a building for decades and are therefore at the heart of sustainable architecture.

On the last Friday before Christmas, we had the pleasure of hosting our Christmas reception at the extrusion plant in Liesberg.

Last week, we were at the Career Fair in Basel. There, we presented our apprenticeship programmes to numerous children, young people and parents and showed them what makes the professions of cast technologist and cast moulder so versatile.

Efficiency is essential: the mechanical reworking of aluminium profiles costs time, money and sometimes nerves. 

Reusing aluminium products can save up to 95 per cent of the energy required for manufacturing. That is one of the reasons why we are expanding our range of recycled alloys.
