Sourcing bent and machined aluminium profiles is often a complex task due to the interfaces between extrusion, bending and machining processing. This involves dealing with multiple suppliers, long lead times and a considerable amount of coordination.

Since 2002, we have been processing the process scrap generated during profile production – press residues, off-cuts and customer waste – at our in-house recycling centre in accordance with specific material requirements. This on-site recycling reduces transport distances and saves time.

In the Swiss construction industry, the recycling rate for aluminium stands at over 90%. Recycling itself saves around 95% of the energy required for primary production.
