The participants were given an insight into the various areas of aluminium processing.
The main topic was the extrusion process for manufacturing aluminium profiles, tubes and bars. In addition, the various profile categories and alloys were discussed in detail, and attention was drawn to key considerations when designing aluminium profiles.
A tour of the extrusion plant, including a stopover at the die making department, rounded off the training.
